Without a high degree of cultural confidence, without the prosperity of culture, there will be no great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Culture is the backbone and soul of a nation. It casts the heart and character of a nation and a nation. Only with cultural confidence can a nation stand in the forest of nations in the world. Only when the people has faith can a country have strength and a nation have.
洞察生命的星辰大海：一场医学革命的中场故事
——对话英国皇家医学会院士陈自明教授，附20例真实世界临床证据

Seeing the Cosmos of Life: A Mid#x2011;Story of a Medical Revolution
— A Dialogue with Prof. Chen Ziming, Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine, with 20 Real#x2011;World Clinical Cases
From chemical synthesis to supramolecular omics, from traditional medicinal diet to blood purification engineering, a Chinese scholar has spent four decades building a bridge between the macroscopic understanding of life and the microscopic control of molecules. His “TCM Medical Diet#x2011;BHSn⁺ Nutritional System” is challenging the established boundaries of chronic and complex diseases.
In April 2026, Shanghai. Our publication held an in#x2011;depth conversation with Prof. Chen Ziming, Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine (UK) and a leading figure in the modernization of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). In parallel, a “20#x2011;Case Compilation of Therapeutic Efficacy of ‘Yurong’ Herbal Tea” — based on the same theoretical system — has been released. The collection covers real#x2011;world study (RWS) data from 2014 to 2026, including brain tumors, advanced lung cancer, post#x2011;stroke sequelae, extreme hypertension, reversal of type 2 diabetic ketoacidosis (with drug discontinuation), and rapid COVID#x2011;19 seroconversion.
For the first time, theoretical height and individual cases stand side by side in a single narrative.
I. “TCM Medical Diet#x2011;BHSn⁺”: From a Single Target to a Molecular Control System
Born in Shanghai in 1960, Chen graduated in Drug Intermediates and Dye Synthesis in 1981. His background in synthetic chemistry allowed him to break away from the “single#x2011;target drug” mindset and merge the precision of synthetic chemistry with the holistic view and systems theory of TCM.
His “Traditional Medicine#x2011;Modern Technology” four#x2011;dimensional research system rests on three pillars:

Overall, after 1#x2011;6 months of continuous intervention, most patients showed normalization or near#x2011;normalization of blood pressure, lipids, glucose, uric acid, and heart rate; some discontinued antihypertensives or antidiabetics (including insulin); tumors/nodules were controlled, reduced, or resolved; post#x2011;stroke function recovered significantly.

IV. Technology Matrix and Industrial Empowerment

From 2024 to 2026, Chen received the “Chinese Physician Award” twice, was named among China’s first “Think Tank Experts”, recognized as a “Leading Figure in Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage”, and was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine (UK) in 2026, also serving as a “Sino#x2011;Arab Cultural Exchange Ambassador”.
Looking ahead, Chen remains pragmatic: “We are still doing basic work. With better lab conditions, TCM science will leap forward.” The team plans to deepen BHS omics research, publish a White Paper on National Archival Technology, and share outcomes widely.
