Ren Yuling, formerly a senior counsellor of the State Council, member of the eighth, ninth and tenth standing committees of the CPPCC National Committee, member of the National Education Advisory Committee, honorary chairman of the China calligraphy and Painting Association, and chairman of the cross strait calligraphy and Painting Artists Association. Ren Yuling is not only a scientist, economist, social activist, but also a famous calligrapher. He has practiced the boy's skill of calligraphy since childhood. Although his calligraphy creation started late, it was extraordinary as soon as it came out. He has won six consecutive gold awards in the 1911 Revolution book exhibition, the 60th anniversary of the Republic, the 90th anniversary of the Communist Party, the book exhibition of 100 art inheritors of the Ministry of culture, the cross-strait calligraphy and painting exchange exhibition and the Astana international cultural exhibition. Ren Yuling was not only employed as a professor by 14 universities, but also as the editor in chief and editorial board of 55 magazines. His calligraphy works have been auctioned many times and donated to charity. In an auction in Dongguan, Guangdong Province in 2016, Ren Yuling's calligraphy works were sold for 1.2 million yuan. In addition to 10% for Ren Yuling to buy paper and pens, the remaining 1 million yuan was donated to the king of poverty alleviation in China. Recently, according to the needs of his hometown in Henan, Ren Yuling made a special donation of 700000 yuan for Rural Revitalization. Over the years, according to the needs of society and the expectations of the people, Ren Yuling has donated four "Ren Yuling collection and works exhibition halls" in Xinyang, Henan, Changping, Beijing, Changxing, Zhejiang and Xiang'an, Xiamen, all of which are permanent exhibition halls with an area of more than 1000 square meters.
