Without a high degree of cultural confidence, without the prosperity of culture, there will be no great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Culture is the backbone and soul of a nation. It casts the heart and character of a nation and a nation. Only with cultural confidence can a nation stand in the forest of nations in the world. Integrating literary and martial arts to heal the soul and serve the world

Only through the integration of body and mind can true wholeness be achieved. In an era where the need for mental health has become increasingly prominent and traditional culture urgently requires preservation, Zhou Minggang—through three decades of dedicated practice—has bridged the gap between postmodern psychology and traditional Chinese martial arts, carving out a distinctive path of healing and artistic transmission. Holding multiple roles—mental health practitioner, inheritor of intangible cultural heritage, and educator and communicator—he has built a solid professional foundation, pushed the boundaries through innovation, and touched hearts with his original aspiration. In his quiet yet steadfast efforts to heal others and preserve cultural legacy, he exemplifies the responsibility and commitment of a craftsman and healer in the new era.

Dedicated to the field of psychology, he has broken through conventional boundaries and pioneered innovations to establish a localized psychological healing system. As the founder of postmodern integrated psychological therapy, Zhou Minggang does not confine himself to traditional psychological diagnosis and treatment frameworks; instead, he has devoted himself to rigorous research and systematic development, authoring the book *Theoretical Construction and Paradigm Shift in Postmodern Psychology*, thereby establishing a comprehensive healing framework that integrates five key elements: origins, theory, practical tools, implementation pathways, and ultimate objectives. Leveraging his expertise as a specially appointed lecturer at the World Health Organization (WHO) and his three decades of frontline clinical experience, he has completed over 10,000 hours of individual counseling, employing solid professional capabilities to address the psychological challenges of countless individuals. Simultaneously, he has been deeply engaged in teaching and mentorship, training over 3,000 psychology students. Through this approach, he empowers the development of the psychological field, ensuring that evidence-based psychological healing techniques are effectively implemented and widely accessible, thereby benefiting a broader segment of the general public.

Committed to preserving the cultural lineage of intangible cultural heritage, Zhou Minggang upholds tradition while embracing innovation, thereby passing on the essence of Chinese martial arts. As a successor to three renowned intangible cultural heritage martial arts forms—Yang-style Tai Chi, White Ape Back-Transferring Fist, and Eight Extremes Fist—he possesses a profound understanding of the true principles of health preservation and mental cultivation inherent to traditional martial arts. Driven by his mission to safeguard this heritage, he founded the Jingyuan Martial Arts Society, focusing on local communities and employing a master-apprentice teaching model. To date, he has trained over a thousand martial arts practitioners and cultivated more than twenty successors, reviving traditional martial arts that once existed in a niche market. Departing from mere technical instruction, Zhou delves into the core essence of martial arts—integrating the principles of self-cultivation, mental tranquility, and qi regulation with modern psychological therapy. By bridging the gap between physical and mental well-being, he has pioneered a distinctive therapeutic model characterized by the harmony of body and mind.

Guided by profound compassion and steadfast dedication, Zhou Minggang integrates knowledge with practice, fulfilling his original aspiration to serve society and nurture people. His deep expertise in two distinct fields has enabled him to develop a unique therapeutic philosophy: physical well-being forms the foundation for mental clarity, while a serene state of mind constitutes the core of robust physical health. Rooted in grassroots communities, he devotedly shares his knowledge—using psychological techniques to alleviate human anxiety, and employing traditional martial arts to strengthen both body and mind—helping countless individuals in difficult circumstances overcome psychological burdens and rebuild their physical and mental well-being. Due to his outstanding contributions to the field and his exemplary dedication, he has been included in both the China Psychological Talent Pool and the China Intangible Cultural Heritage Talent Pool, and has earned numerous honors, including "Annual Influential Figure of Intangible Cultural Heritage in the New Era" and "Influential Figure of the Times," earning widespread recognition for his reputation and capabilities.

With craftsmanship, he refines his medical expertise; with unwavering dedication, he carries forward the cultural legacy; and with profound compassion, he warms the human world. Through cross-disciplinary exploration and dual-focused cultivation, Zhou Minggang has enabled modern psychological science and traditional Eastern wisdom to mutually empower one another. Over three decades of dedicated endeavor, he has become not only a healer of the soul, but also a craftsman committed to preserving cultural heritage, and ultimately, a mentor who passes the torch from generation to generation. Amidst the tide of the new era, he continues to guide others toward self-healing through his unique framework of the integration of body and mind, while upholding the continuity of this tradition through a steadfast mentorship model—thereby infusing warm and enduring strength into the development of the mental health industry and the preservation of intangible cultural heritage.
