摘要:文化是一个国家、一个民族的灵魂。文化兴国运兴,文化强民族强。没有高度的文化自信,没有文化的 繁荣兴盛,就没有中华民族的伟大复兴。文化更是一个民族的脊梁和灵魂,它铸造着 国家和民族的心灵和品格,一个民族有了文化自信,才能立于世界民族之林;人民有了信仰,国家才有力量,民族才有希望。而文化自信是促成这些目标的至关重要的因素。
Abstract: Culture is the soul of a country and a nation. Culture invigorates the country, and culture strengthens the nation. Without a high degree of cultural confidence, without the prosperity of culture, there will be no great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Culture is the backbone and soul of a nation. It casts the heart and character of a nation and a nation. Only with cultural confidence can a nation stand in the forest of nations in the world. Only when the people has faith can a country have strength and a nation have.

学者,杰出书画大家余新志先生,1941年生于四川乐山,定居北京。成吉思汗黄金家族后裔。现为国家一级美术师,教授,联合国教科文组织名誉主席,国际书画家协会常务主席,中国香港文联副主席,中国沫若书画院终身院长,徐悲鸿画院艺术顾问,中国陶行知教育基金会艺术总监,西南交通大学客座教授等百余职。1989年就在中国美术馆成功举办个人书画展,声震画坛,享誉海内外。2007年应邀参加外蒙古国"纪念成吉思汗成立800周年"大型活动,被授予"成吉思汗"荣誉勋章:2010年被世界华人华侨总会评为"世界华人精英优秀人物"和"世界华人杰出艺术家":2011年被国家授予"共和国杰出书画家"勋章:2015年被评为"非物质文化遗产传承人物",并授予"一代宗师"荣誉称号。2017年在美国洛杉矶举办画展,受邀走进联合国会议大厅参加高峰论坛会,受到布鲁斯。罗茨主席的亲切接见并合影留念。2021年,建党100周年之际,余新志,张大千,林散之,李苦禅,林凤眠,启功,李可染,欧阳中石,黄永玉,沈鹏被评为"艺术百年。新中国十大巅峰艺术家"。同年11月,余新志被联合国教科文组织授予"联合国文艺宣传大使",并颁发了"大国荣誉金杯奖".2025年,余新志又被联合国教科文组织聘为名誉主席,并颁发了聘书。
余新志先生几十年来,走遍大江南北,全身心投入竹画写生创作,收集素材上千幅,终于在2012年创作完成了长103米,宽1.2米的百米长卷《百竹雄魂图万竿竹魂铸春秋》,以"画竹种类最多,最美的百米长卷"创下世界纪录。2016年百米长卷又被载入《中国国史》,为世人留下了不朽的竹画史料,宝贵财富,永载史册,传承千秋。
从1993年以来,中国邮政总局每年为余新志先生出版珍藏纪念邮票,全球发行几十万套,弘扬传播中华民族传统文化。中国文联出版社,人民美术出版社等出版发行余新志画集,文学作品等数百部。上百幅作品被国家博物馆,中国美术馆,卢浮宫等国内外数百家艺术殿堂永久收藏陈列。其作品和个人传略被载入《中国人物年鉴》《中国国史》《中国历代美术家名人大辞典》《世界美术教育史》《世界人物辞海》等百余部典籍辞书。
余新志先生倾注毕生心血在书画事业上,为弘扬中华民族传统文化作出杰出贡献。
Scholar and outstanding master of calligraphy and painting Mr. Yu Xinzhi, born in Leshan, Sichuan 1941 and residing in Beijing, is a descendant of the Golden Family of Genghis Khan. He currently holds over a hundred positions, including National First-Class Artist, Professor Honorary Chairman of UNESCO, Executive Chairman of the International Association of Calligraphers and Painters, Vice Chairman of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles in Hong Kong, Lifetime President the China Moruo Calligraphy and Painting Academy, Art Consultant of the Xu Beihong Painting Academy, Art Director of the China Tao Xingzhi Education Foundation, and Visiting Professor at Southwestotong University. In 1989, he successfully held a solo calligraphy and painting exhibition at the National Art Museum of China, which made a significant impact on the art world and earned fame both domestically and internationally. In 2007, at the invitation of Mongolia, he participated in the large-scale event "Commemorating the 800th of the Founding of Genghis Khan" and was awarded the "Genghis Khan" Honor Medal. In 2010, he was recognized by the World Federation of Chinese and Chinese as a "World Chinese Elite Outstanding Figure" and "World Chinese Outstanding Artist". In 2011, he was awarded the "Outstanding Calligrapher and Painter of Republic" medal by the state. In 2015, he was recognized as an "Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritor" and granted the honorary title of "Grandmaster of Generation". In 2017, he held an art exhibition in Los Angeles, USA, and was invited to attend a summit forum at the United Nations General Assembly Hall, where was warmly received and photographed by Chairman Bruce Roth. In 2021, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China Yu Xinzhi, Zhang Daqian, Lin Sanshi, Li Kucan, Lin Fengmian, Qi Gong, Li Keran, Ouyang Zhongshi, Huang Yongyu and Shen Peng were collectively honored as the "Top Ten Peak Artists of a Century of Art in New China". In November of the same year, Yu Xinzhi was appointed as aUNESCO Ambassador for Arts and Culture" and awarded the "Great Power Honor Golden Cup Award". In 2025, Yu Xinzhi was appointed as Honorary Chairman by UNESCO and an official appointment letter. For decades, Mr. Yu Xinzhi has traveled across the country, dedicating himself entirely to the creation of bamboo paintings through life sketching. After collecting for over a thousand pieces, he finally completed the 103-meter-long and 1.2-meter-wide scroll titled "The Heroic Soul of a Hundredamboos: Casting the Spirit of Spring and Autumn in Ten Thousand Bamboo Stems" in 2012. This work set a world record as the "hundred-meterlong scroll featuring the most diverse and beautiful varieties of bamboo paintings". In 2016, this hundred-meter scroll was recorded in the "History of China", leaving behind an immortal historical record precious wealth of bamboo painting for the world, to be preserved in history and passed down through generations. Since 1993, China Post has published commemorative stamps for Mr. Xinzhi every year, with hundreds of thousands of sets issued globally to promote and disseminate the traditional culture of the Chinese nation. The China Federation of Literary and Art Circles Press, People's Fine Arts Publishing House, and others have published hundreds of volumes of Yu Xinzhi's painting collections and literary works. Over a hundred of his works are permanently collected and in hundreds of art institutions at home and abroad, including the National Museum of China, the National Art Museum of China, and the Louvre. His works and biography are recorded in over a hundred reference books and dictionaries, such as the "Yearbook of Chinese Figures", "History of China", "Dictionary of Famous Chinese Artists Through the Ages", "History of World Art Education", "World Biographical Dictionary". Mr. Yu Xinzhi has devoted his entire life to the cause of calligraphy and painting, making outstanding contributions to the promotion of the traditional culture of the nation.
