Intalight's Latest Legal Progress: Shanghai Intellectual Property Court Orders Asset Freeze of RMB 19.99 Million Against TowardPi

Recently, in the case involving TowardPi (Beijing) Medical Technology Co., Ltd. and an engineer surnamed Wu, who are accused of misappropriating trade secrets belonging to SVision Imaging (Henan) Technology Co., Ltd. (the parent company of Intalight), the Shanghai Intellectual Property Court issued its latest ruling.

According to Civil Ruling No. (2024) Hu 73 Minchu 4303 issued by the Shanghai Intellectual Property Court, Intalight filed a petition for asset preservation, requesting the seizure, impoundment, and freezing of assets belonging to the defendants, TowardPi (Beijing) Medical Technology Co., Ltd. and the engineer surnamed Wu, amounting to RMB 19.99 million. Intalight has also provided a guarantee bond as collateral. After review, the court found the asset preservation request legally justified and ruled in favor of freezing the equivalent of RMB 19.99 million in assets from the defendants.

According to the Asset Preservation Notice No. (2024) Hu 73 Minchu 4303 issued by the Shanghai Intellectual Property Court, the court has implemented asset preservation measures, freezing a bank account under the name of TowardPi (Beijing) Medical Technology Co., Ltd., with the preserved amount totaling RMB 19.99 million.With this latest ruling, the total frozen assets in this case have now reached RMB 30.39 million.
