Liu Bin, born in Jimo District, Qingdao City, liked calligraphy since childhood. Under the guidance of his uncle, he began to learn Liu Gongquan's copybook in the second grade. After his uncle died, he learned Qin Li's brushwork from his uncle in Qingdao Shell Carving Factory.After joining the work, he engaged in a lot of propaganda work.

After retirement, he carefully studied calligraphy.He is now the Chinese Couplet Association, the Chinese Hard-pen Calligraphy Association and the Shandong Hard-pen Calligraphy Association.He has also been appointed as a member of the Chinese Couplet Association's Zhongxuan Shengshi Cultural and Art Exchange Center, a member of the Huaxia Erudite International Cultural Exchange Center, and a member of China New Media Alliance's Chinese Cultural Report.His works have won many awards or exhibitions, and have been included in the national collection of fine works of poetry, calligraphy and painting in the new era, and won the honorary title of special contributors focusing on the two sessions.
