Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture is located in the southern part of Qinghai Province, at the intersection of Qinghai, Sichuan, Tibet and New provinces and autonomous regions. It is the first ethnic minority autonomous prefecture in Qinghai Province. Yushu is the upstream source area of important rivers in China and Asia, is a veracity of the "Chinese water tower", wetland area of 41,731,400 mu, accounting for 54.5% of the total area of wetlands in the province, Longbao Beach in 2023 listed in the list of international important wetlands. There are three national nature reserves in Sanjiangyuan, Hoh Xil and Longbao, and two national water conservancy scenic areas. Of the 18 core areas in the Sanjiangyuan National Nature Reserve, 10 are located in Yushu, accounting for 72% of the total area. About 85% of the Sanjiangyuan National Park is located in Yushu, covering 9 townships and 34 villages in the Yangtze River Source Park and Lancang River Source Park. In 2017, Hoh Xil was successfully inscribed on the World Natural Heritage List, becoming China's 51st World Natural Heritage site. Part of the proposed Kunlun Mountain National Park is also in Yushu. Yushu's landscape culture, animal and plant culture, nomadic culture, folk culture, Gesar culture, song and dance culture, with a high international influence and visibility. The whole area is an important habitat for rare wild animals such as Tibetan antelopes, snow leopards and wild yaks on the plateau, with 85 species of wild animals and more than 1,440 species of seed plants of 65 families and 348 genera. It is one of the regions with high altitude biodiversity concentration in the world, a golden area with scarce tourism resources in the world, and a dream place for outdoor travelers. It is "poetry and distance" for photography lovers at home and abroad.

In order to fully display Yushu's magnificent natural scenery, colorful ethnic customs, and brilliant development achievements in the new era, make full use of photography as an intuitive art form to publicize Yushu, and help Yushu build a national Tibetan culture (Yushu) ecological protection experimental zone, a national eco-tourism demonstration zone, and an international eco-tourism destination development strategy. The organizers will jointly hold the "Great Beauty Qinghai Jiangyuan Yushu" national Photography Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as "Yushu National Photography Exhibition"), warmly welcome the majority of photographers and tourism enthusiasts to actively participate in and contribute.

Collection content
A comprehensive collection of photography and video works reflecting the natural scenery, folk customs, people's happy life, urban and rural development achievements, wildlife resources and Yushu tourism new landscape, new look, new atmosphere and other content within the administrative division of Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province.
Collection time
The exhibition is organized in two stages (submissions must be received within this period).
Phase 1: From now until July 9, 2023. The organizer will recommend some works from the first stage to hold the exhibition in Yushu Horse Racing Festival on July 24. The selected works in the first stage will be directly eligible to participate in the overall evaluation, and the two stages shall not be submitted repeatedly.
Phase 2: July 10 - September 30, 2023.
Exhibition works honor setting and remuneration
A total of 90 photographic works/groups and 10 video works will be awarded RMB 800 each.
The selected works will be awarded a certificate of entry, and can apply for points according to the regulations of China Photographers Association. The remuneration for exhibited works shall be paid by China Photography Newspaper to the exhibited authors, from which individual income tax shall be withheld and paid.

Requisition rules
1. All photographers can contribute.
2.There is no limit to the time of creation of works, recent works are encouraged, and there is no limit to single photography or group photos. Each group photo is limited to 4-8.
3. The work must be based within the administrative division of Yushu Prefecture, and specify the specific shooting location. For works in doubt about the shooting area, the contributor should go to the shooting place together with the lawyer entrusted by the organizer. If the work is shot within the designated area after investigation, the relevant legal fees and travel expenses shall be borne by the organizer; If it cannot be determined that the work is shot within the specified geographical scope after investigation, the relevant legal fees and travel expenses shall be borne by the contributor; Contributors who fail to cooperate with the survey will be directly disqualified.
4. After the selection, the organizer will collect the original video files (MP4 format, resolution no less than 1080P) and large-size digital files of photos (the maximum compressed file of JPG format is recommended to be no less than 5MB, which must contain complete exif data). Participants who receive the notification from the organizer are required to submit the original video files and large digital files (please scan the negative for film shooting) to the organizer within the specified time. Failure to submit the original video files and large digital files (please scan the negative for film shooting) will be deemed as automatic waiver of qualification.

The exhibition will implement a system of publicity of the selection results, and the selected works will be publicized on the official website of the exhibition - Quan Shehui network for 7 days, and accept social supervision during this period. After the expiration of the publicity period, China Photography News and Quan Shehui network will publish the selected works in the exhibition, Quan Shehui network will publish the list of exhibition.
6. The organizer and organizer shall have the right to use the exhibited works for relevant purposes in the form of reproduction, distribution, exhibition, screening, broadcasting, information network dissemination, filming and compilation within the term of copyright, without paying any remuneration.
7. The judges of the exhibition and their close relatives are prohibited from submitting contributions, and all qualifications will be cancelled at any time once they are found.
8. The contributor shall guarantee that he/she is the author of the submitted work and has independent, complete, clear and undisputed copyright in the whole and parts of the work; Contributors shall also ensure that the works they submit do not infringe upon the legitimate rights and interests of third parties, including copyright, portrait rights, reputation rights, and privacy rights.

9. Works and behaviors that are harmful to public order and good customs will be immediately disqualified from exhibition once found. "Works and behaviors that violate public order and good customs" include but are not limited to any situations that may seriously mislead the public, have the nature of fraud, and violate laws, morals, public order, or good customs.
10. Those who do not meet the requirements of this call for papers cannot stand for election; Those already in the exhibition will be disqualified; The organizer has the right to withdraw the remuneration and certificates of honor for the work, and may inform the media.
11. There is no entry fee, no return, and no return of storage media. If the submitted works are damaged, lost, late or not arrived in the process of mailing or sending, the relevant losses and consequences shall be borne by the contributors themselves.
12. The organizer reserves the right to interpret this call for papers. Contributors shall be deemed to have agreed to all the requirements of this call for Papers.

It is recommended to upload MP4 or MOV files with the maximum compressed file size of 1GB and resolution of 1080P, the frame rate is 60 frames, and the duration of a single piece is less than 10 minutes. Video submissions must be attached to the URL link or QR code of the published works on micro-video platforms (such as Douyin, Kuaishou, Mepai, Miaopai, BILIBILI, etc.).

If there is no relevant information, the organizer has the right to cancel the entry qualification. Video works require a resolution of 1080P MP4 or MOV format file, the frame rate of 60 frames is appropriate, a single length of less than 10 minutes is appropriate.
