Ecological progress is crucial to the sustainable development of the Chinese nation. The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that the Chinese-style modernization is the modernization of harmonious coexistence between man and nature, which fully reflects the great importance the Party Central Committee attaches to the construction of ecological civilization and ecological environmental protection, and provides direction and fundamental guidance for further ecological environmental protection.
Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture is located in the hinterland of the world's third pole of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, bordering Kunlun Mountains to the north, Tanggula Mountains to the south, western Sichuan mountains and valleys to the east, northern Tibet Qiangtang Plateau to the west, and Southern Xinjiang uninhabited area to the northwest. Since ancient times, Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture has enjoyed a very important geographical position, enjoying the reputation of "the ancient Road of Tang and Tibet into the throat of Tibet". Yushu is home to endless snow-capped mountains, towering glaciers, rivers and vast grasslands. The world's third longest river, known as the "cradle of Chinese civilization", the world's fifth longest river, the mother river of the Chinese nation -- Yellow River, the world's seventh longest river, known as the "cradle of Southeast Asian civilization" -- Lancang River, these three rivers originate in Yushu and run through the entire territory. Yushu's landscape culture, animal and plant culture, nomadic culture, folk culture, Gesar culture, song and dance culture, with a high international influence and visibility. The 51st World Natural Heritage Site, Hoh Xil, Longbaotan Wetland of International Importance, Sanjiangyuan National Nature Reserve and the first major areas of Sanjiangyuan National Park are all located in Yushu. The whole area is an important habitat for rare wild animals such as Tibetan antelope, snow leopard, leopard and wild yak. There are 85 species of wild animals and more than 1440 species of seed plants in 65 families and 348 genera. It is one of the regions with relatively high altitude biodiversity in the world and one of the regions with relatively rich water resources in the world. Yushu has become the "poem and distance" for photography lovers at home and abroad.
