Li Guozhen, formerly known as Li Jianfang, was born in 1956 in Nanyuan, Tongguan County, Weinan City, Shaanxi Province. Influenced by his family and the culture of the ancient city of Xi'an since primary school, he loved calligraphy and painting.In the past 50 years, Li Guozhen has formed his own unique artistic style in the art of calligraphy and painting. His calligraphy is good at running script, cursive script and official script. His paintings are mainly landscapes, as well as galloping horses, eagles, plum, orchid, bamboo and chrysanthemum, flowers and birds.Paintings are unique in conception and careful in layout. Calligraphy is used to paint and painting is used to make books.
