Train Intelligent Operation and Maintenance System Unveiled at China MODERN RAILWAYS 2023

At the MODERN RAILWAYS 2023 held recently, CRRC Qingdao Sifang Rolling Stock Research Institute (CRRC SRI) presented digital and intelligent products such as intelligent operation and maintenance system, intelligent inspection robot system for rail vehicles, and EPCD-5 new generation higher speed intelligent EMU brake control system.

Among them, the intelligent operation and maintenance system relies on national demonstration projects to build a ground vehicle intelligent operation and maintenance big data integration application platform, creating an energy-saving, safe, reliable, intelligent and efficient urban rail vehicle intelligent operation and maintenance system. The intelligent inspection robot system for rail vehicles includes three types: high-speed rail, locomotive, and subway. It is equipped with advanced technologies such as autonomous environment perception, path planning and obstacle avoidance, 2D image and 3D point cloud acquisition, etc., to assist in the safe operation of vehicles. The EPCD-5 new generation higher speed intelligent EMU brake control system represents the advanced level of high-speed, intelligent, and lightweight braking system products for high-speed multiple unit trains.
