On December 10,2021, the decentralized quantitative team of —— BitradeX in Zurich officially released the annual backtest results of their self-developed AI-driven strategy system, —— ARK Trading Model. The model achieved an impressive annualized return of 317.6% in real-time simulations during 2021, making it one of the most watched strategy projects in the Web3 trading community this year.
According to Bob Mayer, a core member of BitradeX and chain-based strategy architect, ARK Trading Model is a combination strategy system based on on-chain behavior analysis, multi-factor timing, and AI weight control, which is dedicated to providing decentralized traders with a robust return plan without human intervention.
The model backtest covers 9 mainstream assets such as BTC, ETH, UNI and SOL, with a test period from January to November 2021 and a deployment environment of Ethereum mainnet + Polygon side chain environment. The core data is as follows:
ETH-USDT pair: annualized return of 298%, maximum retracement of 16.3%
UNI-BTC: Annualized return of 354%, maximum retracement of 20.8%
Four asset rotation portfolio: annualized return rate of 317.6%, Sharpe ratio of 2.58
"We're not trying to hype concepts, but to prove that AI, CeFi and DeFi can be integrated," said a BitradeX DAO member. "The original intention of ARK Trading Model is to make trading transparent and algorithms serve consensus, rather than replace humanity."
The strategy was originally developed by a group of community members from Berlin, Bangkok and Singapore. As the performance of the strategy is validated, BitradeX DAO plans to start front-end product development for general users in early 2022, with ARK Trading Model expected to be one of the first core products to go live.
According to industry analysis, the successful launch of BitradeX ARK Trading Model means that the combination of DAO community and AI quantification begins to move towards the empirical stage, bringing long-term potential and new governance paradigm for the entire decentralized trading ecosystem.
